The Black Otter team is ordered to provide rear support for an operation at Side 1. The team engages Principality remnants and is rescued by Lieutenant Junior Grade Audrey April, piloting the Gundam TR-1 Hazel Full Armor High Mobility Form. The Black Otter team detects a Zanzibar-class mobile cruiser en route to Side 1, which deploys a Zaku II and the same customized Rick Dom encountered earlier. Wes Murphy pilots a Hizack Pre-Production Type in place of the damaged TR-1 Hazel. After Carl Matsubara’s GM Sniper III is damaged in combat, the Zanzibar then deploys three more mobile suits.

The Black Otter team conducts a test of the Bizack TR-2 Bigwig at Side 1. During the test, a civilian shuttle is destroyed by Titan mobile suits. Carl Matsubara pilots the TR-2 Bigwig in place of his damaged GM Sniper III. The team once again detects the enemy Zanzibar, which deploys its five mobile suits. Matsubara prepares to fire on the Zanzibar but stops when they realize it’s escorting a civilian shuttle. The shuttle is then destroyed by Titan mobile suits.

The Black Otter team conducts another test of the Bizack TR-2 Bigwig and its long-range beam cannon. The cannon unit malfunctions during the firing test and Carl Matsubara is forced to jettison it.

Eliard Hunter and Carl Matsubara encounter Principality remnants during a combat exercise near Konpeitoh. Eliard pilots the Hazel reserve unit, a GM Quel equipped with a Hazel head and backpack and fitted with a Tri Booster Unit. Wes Murphy comes to the rescue and shoots down the Gelgoog and Rick Dom, although their pilots escape unharmed.

Carl Matsubara performs an atmospheric entry test with the TR-4 Dandelion. At the descent point, the TR-3 Kehaar and TR-4 Dandelion encounter and destroy Principality remnants. The TR-4 Dandelion discards its armor during the battle, and Eliard Hunter forces the Khartoum base commander to recover the Dandelion’s core module and armor parts.

EPISODE 5.2

The Black Otter Team begins an atmospheric entry test with the Gaplant TR-5 Fiver. The Rosette and the Hazel Custom with Icarus Unit are carried aboard the Fiver as escort mobile suits. The Advanced Hazel is assigned to patrol the area, which also serves as a test of this machine. The Gundam TR-1 Hazel Custom has now been repainted in standard Titan colors, and the Hazel II has been upgraded to the Advanced Hazel. On Urup Island in the Kuril Islands, Gabriel Zola receives a captured Asshimar from his AEUG allies.

Audrey April fights a mock battle against one of the Aswan’s new pilots. She then uses the Gundam TR-1 Hazel-Rah to engage a team of AEUG mobile suits. The Aswan has now been repainted in combat colors and reassigned to battle the AEUG. The Izmir is now responsible for all test operations. The Advanced Hazel is equipped with the G-Parts Hrdudu to battle the AEUG mobile suits. In this configuration, it carries a shield booster on its left arm.

EPISODE 5.3-5.4

The Titans attack a secret Karaba base on the Kamchatka peninsula. The Gaplant TR-5 Fiver is launched from the Nevada base in North America to join the attack. The Fiver destroys the Kamchatka base with its missiles, and the Karaba forces retreat.

The Nevada base is one of several facilities to which Jaburo’s functions have been reassigned.

Gabriel Zola sorties in a GM II, then transfers to his Asshimar once it arrives at the Kamchatka base.

EPISODE 5.45

Audrey April launches from the Izmir to intercept AEUG mobile suits from Zola’s Zanzibar.

Audrey’s Advanced Hazel is configured as the Hazel-Rah Second Form, and from the photos it appears to be equipped with the same movable booster pod as the Hazel Custom. The Izmir’s Captain Schrader comments that her fighting style reminds him of the Dendrobium, and his deputy reminds him that this machine was erased from the historical records.

EPISODE 5.5

After capturing the Kamchatka base, Eliard and Carl board a space shuttle in order to return to space along with their mobile suits. Murphy protects the shuttle from Zola’s pursuit, then discards the Fiver equipment for better maneuverability.

AEUG forces led by Gabriel Zola begin a series of attacks on the Federation’s Konpeitoh base.

As per the U.C. 0088 Trial Report in the December 2005 issue of Dengeki Hobby magazine. These attacks continue until September of this year, preventing the Konpeitoh forces and the Titans Test Team from participating in the Granada colony drop.

U.C. 0087.08

EPISODE 6.0-6.1

The Black Otter Team attempts to capture the AEUG dock ship Rosa Gigantea. The Gundam TR-1 Advanced Hazel is damaged.

The Rosa Gigantea is moving between Konepitoh and the Gate of Zedan. The Izmir makes a swing by Earth to enter the same orbit and then intercepts the dock ship three days later. The Titans’ primary goal is to capture the Rosa Gigantea intact, or destroy it if all else fails.

The Izmir has now been assigned a second mobile suit team made up of one Marasai and two Hizacks, which stays behind to guard the ship. Audrey is also on standby with the Hrududu.

Eliard’s Hazel Custom is equipped with three shield boosters, and Carl’s Advanced Hazel has sniper equipment. Both enemy Nemos are armed with beam cannons.

After Carl’s Advanced Hazel is shot down, the Izmir and its mobile suits attempt to destroy the Rosa Gigantea, but succeed only in immobilizing it. They then break off the battle in order to recover Carl Matsubara.
