This is the HGUC 1/144th scale Hi-Zack model from Zeta Gundam. Its an earlier HGUC (#12 if I’m not mistaken). Its not the best HGUC kit I’ve seen, but it has its perks. The biggest “irk” for me was the colors molded. They got the light green right, but the darker section is this dark ugly green that just doesn’t look good. Paint can solve that problem. However, another problem I’ve run into is its little cables running all over it. The color they are molded in isn’t eh most appealing either (dead dandelion yellow) so some painting could be used for those too. The backpack “gimmicks” don’t seem to stay together too well either. The flaps around the boosters fall out and the two “wing” things sticking up on either side of the backpack aren’t sturdy either. The left hand cannot grip the gun handle as shown on the front of the box. The gun is its only weapon, so I was a bit dissapointed with that fact. Articulation isn’t bad, but theres no “double-joint” action going on with this kit. The ankle articulation is nice, though. Straight out of the box, I personally think its the worst HGUC I’ve built. Even with paint, its just an alright kit. Its a good kit to have getting shot by your Mk II though!
