This is the 13th HGUC in the lineup, the Gundam GP01 from the series 0083 Stardust Memories. This Mobile Suit was later upgraded to the fB version and the HGUC GP01fB kit shares some of the same parts.
For being an early HGUC design, this kit isn’t too bad. Mostly single-jointed designs with crisp details keep this thing looking nice. The ‘o1′ marked on its shoulder is actually engraved into that shoulderplate, which makes it easy to fill in with paint. Like its HGUC fB Brother, this kit will require blue paint on its shield to make it look right, but the rest of the details are basically there. This kit also comes with a core fighter, but it cannot switch the core out (like the PG can). Only a beam rifle and some sabers for its weaponry, which is sad. However, there are kits that are later on in the HGUC lineup that feature some of the weapons that the GP01 used or could’ve used.
Its a pretty basic kit with some nice details. An easy build and a good looking kit. Since it is an earlier HGUC, they are harder to come across.
