This is the HGUC kit for “The O”. This is the third largest kit in the HGUC lineup (up against the Psycho and Dendrobium) and is easily as tall as some Master Grade Kits. The kit itself has quite the box for it, but alot of that is just big pieces. The build of the kit is solid as a rock (as it should! It weighs as much as rock!) Its parts are sturdy and easy to assemble. Its leg units are so huge that one can take the plates off and have a frame (like a MG, just not as detailed). All of the plates on the legs are moveable and have a surprisingly great range of motion for its bulky design. As far as articulation goes, all the major points move well, as well as its leg panels. The only restricted parts seem to be the elbows. They are stopped short by the design. The one gun that it does come with needs no real detailing, as the cables are already the colors they need to be. The sabers can come out of their holdings and from underneath the front skirt armor. The molding for the colors is ALMOST right on. The red cables are right, the gunmetal joints are right, but the yellow just seems a bit off for me. Then again, I was never a fan for that yellow paint job anyways. This kit will require some detailing for the full effect, as it is littered with boosters. Most of them are already colored as separate parts though, so you don’t have to paint. Overall, great build, no real flaws in its design, great kit.
